Let’s jump in!

I wrote the “Future Husband” series in 2016, and I’m so glad for the thousands of people who’ve enjoyed those posts. ❤ It was really interesting to see what you guys like to read, and I look forward to experimenting a little more in the new year!

While singleness is a hot topic, and I plan to write more about it, I want to branch out and explore other topics as well. Here are some ideas…

  • Cultivating thriving friendships
  • Tips for being friends with guys
  • My quiet-time routine/favorite quiet time resources
  • Habits of successful students (and what marks success)
  • How to saturate your life with Scripture

These are just a few ideas from the boatload of brainstorms I have for 2018. If you want, let me know which of these post ideas interests you most–and feel free to give me suggestions!

I know 2018 will be such a year, and I really hope that I’ll have the time to offer you some good and helpful content (pray that I’ll have time to actually write! Ha!).

Anyways, that’s all for now! Have a wonderful Christmas week ❤

  1. I definitely look forward to reading your ideas on singleness and saturating one’s life with scripture. I need more scripture in my life, although I am getting better at it. Let me suggest two ideas.
    1) The Psalms and gospels: and how to use them. These two genres have traditionally been regarded as being of special importance for Christians.
    2) Your take on the sacraments. The divide between sacramental and non-sacramental Christians is a huge issue, particularly because our culture no longer tolerates the level of mystery required to believe in things as complex as baptism, ordination, et cetera.
    Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks for your comment, friend! I’ll definitely consider your suggestions and see what God puts on my heart. 🙂
I’m not sure the sacraments post would work well with the purpose of this particular blog, but it’s definitely important to discuss! I’d rather leave this topic in the hands of a theologian, but I will say that I believe they are biblical–just not as a means of salvation. Salvation is by grace alone through Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). 🙂
